"God  Lives In Us!"

 A Place to Belong...
 Where God makes A Difference,
and We Make A Difference in the Name of God!

Worship Service - Sunday mornings at 10:30am

Covid-19 Rules

The church is open for services on Sundays.  Time:  10:30 a.m.  Masks are now optional but are still highly recommended.  Hand sanitizer is available.

Our Biblical Story is from John 15: 1 - 8, "Jesus the True Vine"

"I am the true vine and my Father is the vine grower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit. You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them, bear much fruit, because apart from me, you can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown away like a branch and withers, such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples."

All that we do, all that we are, is rooted in faith and Christian Scripture. Therefore, we have "our Bible story", one that we claim as ours as we journey together into the future.

A vision is intended to draw a picture of the future- it is our "vision," the place, where we, with God's help, want to be. (We're not there yet, that's why we need this map or blueprint!) But we also need some tangible or concrete goals to help us get there and so we have developed a series of objectives based on our Vision Statement.

Our Vision Statement - Dundas Street United Church

DSUC welcomes people of all ages and stages in the name of Jesus.

Just as Jesus received and loved all who came to Him, we strive to follow His example.

The Gospel compels us to a life of compassion, justice, humility and grace.

Our faith is nurtured through worship, prayer, study, fellowship and service.

We worship and praise God together with joy and enthusiasm!

Worship is a time to refresh, renew and restore.

We honour the importance of Scripture through study, reflection, prayer, laughter and tears.

As a church family, we care for and support one another; this strengthens us to make a difference in the community and beyond.
